Alcohol & Grey Area Drinking Coaching for Women
Drink Less. Feel Better. Live More.
If alcohol is taking up more headspace than you want it to, you don’t have to wait for things to get worse before making a change.
I’m Meg Harries, founder of Happy Hour Coaching and a qualified Personal Performance Coach based in Brighton. I help women who are questioning their relationship with alcohol — from grey area drinking and that habitual evening wine to taking a break or exploring alcohol-free life.
You might be drinking more than you intended, waking at 3am overthinking, making rules with yourself and then breaking them, or simply wondering why something that’s supposed to help you relax doesn’t feel particularly relaxing anymore.
You don’t need a label and you don’t need to have hit rock bottom.
Coaching gives you the space to understand why you drink, what keeps the pattern going and what you actually want instead.
How Alcohol Coaching Can Help
Changing your relationship with alcohol is about much more than simply trying harder not to drink.
Together, we can explore the habits, thoughts, emotions and beliefs that sit underneath your drinking. We’ll look at what alcohol has been doing for you — switching off, managing stress, giving you confidence, marking the end of the day — and find healthier ways to meet those needs.
My coaching is compassionate, curious and non-judgemental. I’m not here to tell you what you should do. I’ll help you get clearer about what you want and support you in making changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
Coaching can help you:
understand your drinking patterns and triggers
quieten the constant mental negotiations around alcohol
develop practical tools for cravings, stress and difficult moments
challenge beliefs and habits that are keeping you stuck
rebuild confidence and trust in yourself
reconnect with your values, relationships and wellbeing
create a life that feels fuller, calmer and more like you
You may decide to drink less, take a break or stop altogether. You get to decide what change looks like for you
Please note that the ‘Drink Less, Live More’ program is designed for middle lane and grey area drinkers looking to take a break from alcohol, quit altogether or be supported in their alcohol free life. If you are dependent on alcohol, it is important to seek medical help before attempting to quit.

Womens Circles
I am also a trained and accredited Circle Facilitator, offering women an opportunity to come together and experience the transformative power of being seen and heard in a non-judgemental and compassionate space. The beauty and power of Circle is in its simplicity. By sharing, caring and connecting, we are able to voice our fears, dreams and desires. It is a place of quiet reflection and learning.
I believe that the simple, yet potent act of telling our stories, helps move us towards a deeper sense of compassion, both for ourselves and others. In the circle we celebrate our messiness and magnificence, knowing that both are part of our shared human experience. These spaces are where transformation can happen.
